Domain Backorder
What precisely is a domain backorder? How does the backorder process work?
When a domain name expires, there is a time period of a little over sixty days when it's not active, but can still be renewed by its current owner. During this time, the domain cannot be taken by anybody else, but in case it is not renewed, it gets into the so-called Pending Deletion period that lasts five days. This is when ICANN-accredited registrar companies take backorders for these domain names. If a specific name is backordered, the registrar will attempt to register it for the customer the moment it's deleted and available to the public, which gives people an opportunity to acquire a short and easy to remember domain which may have been employed by someone else up until this moment. If the domain is quite appealing, a number of companies may try to register it in the same time and because this happens on a first-come, first-serve basis, there is no guarantee that a particular person will have that domain name. Nevertheless, using a backorder service will give you a lot better chance to acquire a specific domain than if you try to register it manually.

Domain Backorder in Cloud Website Hosting
All
cloud website hosting packages that we offer feature a domain backorder service as a standard as we work with an ICANN-licensed domain registrar. You'll be able to order a domain from your Hepsia Control Panel where you will find a list of all domain names planned to be deleted in the following few days. Handy filters will enable you to narrow this list, so instead of checking out thousands of names, you could search for a particular phrase, specify the extension and the length, or browse only domains which will be erased on a specific date. The filters will save you a considerable amount of time and placing a backorder will take you just a single click. If we obtain the domain name that you would like to have, it will be available inside your Control Panel quickly. In the event that we are not successful, the funds for it will be available within your account and you'll be able to use it for other domains - new registrations, renewals or backorders.

Via a search box, you will also be able to check if any expired domain contains a specific phrase you're interested in. virtual private servers. You'll find the complete list of all domains that will be deleted in the following days inside your VPS billing Control Panel and placing an order for any of them will take you just a single click. Since the list is really large, we've added a couple of filters that will enable you to find appropriate domain names - select the domain name extension and the minimum/maximum length, check the domains that will be deleted on a specific date, view only domain names that include dictionary words or enter a string of characters of your choosing. As backordering a domain can't guarantee that we will be able to register it, you will still be able to use the funds from the order for different other services in case that the registration attempt is unsuccessful.
